We’re now looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to catapult us to the next stage of our growth as one of Fast Company’s most innovative companies of 2021, putting our innovative Tampliner on bathroom – and shop – shelves all around the world.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver on Callaly’s mission to inspire people to expect more from their period products, using innovation to finally put customers’ needs first
  • Develop and execute the trade marketing plan, making the most of specific opportunities across different channels and retailers; help grow new & existing accounts
  • Work in partnership with the Commercial Team to support delivery of the overall business strategy
  • Ensure impactful brand presence in high value retail listings, conceptualizing and executing trade promotions and rolling out impactful campaigns across POS, merchandising, sampling/product demonstrations, activations and events in collaboration with marketing and sales (an external team)
  • Build a relationship and collaborate with AMs in order to maximise go-to-market opportunities (Retailer CRM, Digital Media, SEO), implementing specific activation programs to improve brand visibility
  • Create & manage in-store demos & sampling plan – play a key role in how customers interact with the brand and support in developing the right messaging across touchpoints
  • Visiting the points of sales regularly to ensure that the brand is visible and guidelines are respected
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams including Sales, Customer Experience, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Budget management of trade marketing and how this fits within wider marketing budget, maximising ROI
  • Track performance to feed into wider marketing reporting, measuring success of trade activations and informing strategy

In addition:

  • Providing sales support to help secure new listings
  • Support Head of Marketing in implementing online and offline channels to drive awareness and penetration
  • Work with online and customer experience to make customer insight and data driven decisions
  • Represent Callaly at a range of trade & consumer events

Who you are

  • You are driven to improve people’s experiences of periods and you’re excited by our mission to reinvent period care
  • Proven experience managing trade marketing in the UK, across in store and e-retailers and how to merchandise in both
  • Knowledge/experience of Drugstore/Pharmacy channel, and/or feminine protection channel is of particular interest but not essential
  • A practical, dynamic self-starter with a high degree of initiative, positive attitude and an entrepreneurial ‘hands-on’ mindset 
  • We are looking for someone with grit and determination, ready to take on the challenge of cutting through the inertia of this category 
  • A people-person who is excited by the opportunity to engage with both account customers and end users, with a mindset that combines insight, creativity and forward thinking with a proven ability to work with data and numbers
  • You have best in class consumer goods trade marketing experience and are keen to apply it in a small, dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Experience at a high-growth startup / similarly fast-paced challenger brand would be beneficial
  • You ideally have personal experience of having periods
