A bit about us

Callaly is on a mission to reinvent femcare and be the most forward-thinking company for people with periods. We believe that nobody should have to put up with products that don’t work or haven’t improved in decades. Nor should they have to buy tampons and pads in one absorbency or in bulk from supermarkets just because that’s what they’ve always done. That’s why we launched a delivery service selling a much better option: tampliners, the first real design innovation to tampons in 80 years. Since our soft launch in 2018 we’ve sold tens of thousands of tampliners, and have won multiple prestigious innovation awards. The Independent named us one of the “period-positive startups revolutionising the multi-billion pound feminine care industry”, we made it into Dezeen’s top 10 most forward-thinking designs for women, and even Vogue called our branding chic.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and deliver social media content and campaigns that are relevant, engaging and effective across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn
  • Grow our social following across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn and increase engagement on all of our content
  • Design and create visual social content, including GIFs and branded images, working closely with the head of content and content producers
  • Create relevant, engaging and helpful written content across our social channels
  • Create and manage paid social campaigns, working alongside the head of growth
  • Build and foster a community of influencers, and manage performance influencer campaigns
  • Monitor emerging social media trends and join in conversations
  • Measure and report performance of all content campaigns, assessing against goals
  • Be a guardian of brand consistency across all social media channels, speaking in our tone of voice

Who you are

  • A social media strategist with expert knowledge of social channels and online influence 
  • A great communicator and people person with an infectious enthusiasm for social media as a driver of growth 
  • Mac literate, with excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop
  • Driven by design and visual communication
  • A proven performer in creating and building on social communities
  • A strong driver of direct customer acquisition through social; you have managed campaigns, including performance campaigns
  • Naturally collaborative, with experience working with other teams
  • A curious self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Adaptable, working well in a constantly changing environment
  • Highly driven and ambitious while working well as part of a team
  • Sociable with a great sense of humour (we take our work seriously but not ourselves)
  • Personally motivated by our mission to reinvent femcare and bust the period taboo
